Douglas High School Senior Photos, Sean

Every senior photo session is special and different and the joy for me is bringing out a different part of a seniors personality.  It was obvious that Sean loved football and wanted some football images, but when he asked if he could do some martial arts photos, I thought, what?  This wasn’t on my questionnaire.  But once we started shooting we had so much fun. of course we got other great images from his session for mom and dad, grandmas and grandpas but the images we got for him are the difference.  And how ’bout that cute puppy about 6 photos down

Thanks Sean,  for sharing your senior experience with me, you rock.

Ana Douglas High Senior Class of 2013

Douglas High Senior Ana was the winner of my latest promotion.  For each one hundred Facebook fans I am giving away a free session valued at 179.99.  Her senior portraits were, well, Tim Barron Photo Style, dramatic lighting and fashionable style. Seniors, if you don’t want that same stuffy senior photo and want to be seen as an individual then call the studio today to Experience the Difference  (541)378-7401

Split Sessions

Your senior year is special and is riddled with changes.  Your senior pictures deadlines are normally quite early for submission in the yearbook.   Truth is, you are still changing and growing.  I may get an opportunity to photograph you in the fall  to meet the deadlines,  but in my opinion it is not great representation of what you were like when you graduate from high school.  So, what do we do about it?

Effective immediately, all my session of 199 or more will be eligible to do a split session.  One to meet the deadline for yearbook and another to show another look for families and prints.

Introducing Payment Plan Options

At Tim Barron Photography I pride myself on being flexible and even though my prices are lower than the majority of the professional photographers in the area, I feel it is important for everyone to be able to afford amazing images from the most amazing year of your life to date.  I don’t want you to go to the neighbor who just got a “Nice” camera for Christmas.  Your senior photos should be special and remarkable.  I offer a 100% guarantee that you will love your images and I am pretty sure your neighbor won’t be willing to offer that.  My wedding clients are afforded the benefit of a payment plan.  It seems only logical that the high school seniors get that too.  This will allow you to get all the amazing products you want and need without the sticker shock of having to pay for it all at once.  Spread it out over 3-6 months whatever works best for you.

The only thing that would need to be paid up front is the session fee.  Then simply come back for your ordering appointment and order what you really want and know that you will have up to 6 months to pay for it.

Grace, Klahowya Secondary School

Grace’s senior session was like all the others, until she showed up and became a rockstar.  This girl from Klahowya Secondary School brought her A game for her senior pics.  I can’t believe how shy she is (not).  She looks amazing and has a personality to match.  It was such an honor to photograph Grace at Theler Wetlands what a beautiful place.

Katrina ~ South Umpqua High School Class of 2013

This South Umpqua High School lady is focused and I have to admire her  forward thinking.  She is heading off to boot camp, summer before her senior year.  The National Guard is getting a treasure in Katrina.  I am proud of you for beginning your adventure to serve our country. Awesome.

Summer Sessions

Summer is here and what an awesome time to begin your senior experience

Prom 2012

Prom Photos

Attention Roseburg High, South Umpqua High, Douglas High, Sutherlin High and all other Douglas County High Schools.  Your Prom is this month.  I would love to be part of your prom experience.  Instead of getting those stuffy, boring prom photos done in the gym lets do something fun and exciting.  Let’s make the photos special and experience the difference.

The difference.

Your mini session will be going to charity. The proceeds of your $25.00 donation will go to either Operation Smiles or Camp Millenium. I realize this is a small drop in the bucket of what these two organization need to operate but what matters is helping.  Every little bit adds up for these amazing organizations and that is what we should do.  Be ambassadors to our universe.  Make a difference.

What you get.

Beyond the great satisfaction of knowing that you helped these two amazing organizations,  you will receive (1) 8×10 or (2)5x7s and one digital file.

You can book your 20 minute session  at

the Crew

What a fantastic group of teens we have put together.  This fantastic group of rockstar models are amazing.

What to wear?

Be yourself!!!

This is my biggest tip for senior pictures or any portraits of yourself. Just be who YOU are, dress how YOU want, show off YOUR personality. Are you on the football team? Jersey it is! Do you have a passion for horses? Rock those cowboy boots and hat. Love music? Wear your LMFAO t-shirt.

Bring Props

Do you love snowboarding? Grab that board and a hat. On the golf team? Bring your golf clubs. Love your puppy more than anything in the world? Let her be your co-star. Play the guitar? Bring it with!

Layering, Patterns and Texture

Add depth to your photos by layering and bringing in pattern and texture. Skirt, flowy tank top, floral cardigan and leather boots. Plaid shirt under a chunky sweater with jeans. And don’t forget those accessories! Headbands, belts, scarves and jewelry can add tons of personality and interest to your photos.
